LYRA: The Amazing Grace

June 20, 2016

Accutone is proud to launch the newest audio earphone Lyra, name after the lyre (Greek: λύρα, lýra), a string instrument known for its use in Greek classical antiquity and later periods. The lyre is similar in appearance to a small harp,  it was ordinarily played by being strummed with a plectrum (pick), like a guitar or a zither, rather than being plucked with the fingers as with a harp. The fingers of the free hand silenced the unwanted strings in the chord. However, later lyres were played with a bow, including in Europe and parts of the Middle East.

The company named the headphone as Lyra as it gives a graceful musical sound.  Tuned

to Class A for Audio Balance, it has excellent balance between high-tone and bass, without compromising one for the other.

The Lyra headphone is also designed to be the perfect partner of iPhone® and iPad®. It is designed to work natively with both iOS and Android devices. A unique feature, Lyra is able to automatically detect between the two operating systems and can immediately control volume, answer calls and select music tracks without any setup.

Housed in anodized recyclable aluminum, Lyra looks amazing and it sounds ever better. The high-grade copper cable allows superb signal transmission, along with a voice-enhanced omni-directional microphone, Lyra is designed for both music and conversational use.

Lyra is the perfect balance of looks and performance. Positioning at an affordable price (MSRP USD29), it is the best value for money one can find in the market!
